Kyung-il and Kyung-ho meet through a secondhand camera deal.
Kyung-ho needs money and comes to sell his camera, but he is so attached to it that he cannot quite let it go. After a bit of back-and-forth, Kyung-il finally takes the camera and leaves, only for Kyung-ho—unable to give up on it—to impulsively chase after him. Encounters with a peculiar fortune-teller and an ex-boyfriend soon follow, and the two men’s day begins to roll in an unexpected direction.

World-premiered at the 2025 Jeonju International Film Festival, this latest film is directed by Kim Jho Gwang-soo—an openly gay filmmaker who is also known for holding one of the first same-sex wedding ceremonies in Korea, and the director of Two Weddings and a Funeral. He has built a solid reputation as a “master of BL” through works such as Made in Rooftop, starring Lee Hong-nae and also released in Japan, as well as the BL drama The New Employee. With this film, he delivers a lighthearted and affectionate romantic comedy.

Born in Seoul in 1965, Kim Jho Gwang-soo graduated from the Department of Film at Hanyang University. As the head of the Korean film company Generation Blue Films, he has produced more than ten films, including the youth drama Just Friends? and the groundbreaking gay film No Regret, which sparked a major cultural sensation in Korea.
In the fall of 2007, he began directing films himself. In a country where homosexuality is still seen as taboo, he deliberately chose charming young actors and started creating bright, positive queer films. His directorial debut was the short film Boy Meets Boy, starring Kim Hye-sung, who is well known for his role as Yeo-jin in the popular Korean drama The Kingdom of the Winds. This film, together with two other shorts, was featured at AQFF in 2011 and was later released theatrically in Japan in 2013.
Since then, he has directed feature films such as Two Weddings and a Funeral and Made in Rooftop, as well as the BL drama The New Employee, firmly establishing himself as a beloved “master of BL.”
